“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices like a strong man to run its race. Its rising is from one end of heaven and its circuit to the other end; and there is nothing hidden from its heat.” Psalm 19:1-6
What a fantastic illustration of the glory of God revealed in our world. The sun rules the sky during the day and the moon and stars at night. (Genesis 1:14-19). God’s glory abounds in this world. The leaves on the trees with their intricate lines, the delicate petals of a rose, the songs of the birds that nest in the trees are all evidence of how great our God is!
If the heavens and earth declare His glory, how much more should we, His children who were created in His image, shout out His greatness! He brings us life and salvation. He supplies all our needs. He loves us with an everlasting love. Our every breath should be filled with praise for His abundant mercy and love for us.
Luke 19:40 says that “if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out!”
Declare God’s glory. Shout out His greatness before the rocks and all nature cry out!
